C Beyond was designed by one of Sri Lanka's most influential
artists and architects, Laki Senanayake, who spent a lot of time in the area as
a child and celebrated these memories with a graceful and understated design
enabled by the blue of the sea and lagoon. C Beyond offers a restaurant area,
which serves all the food but no menu, which is a surprise of the meal and
allows you to taste the local food. The hotel offers a very small swimming pool
on the main terrace, facing the sea where the large fish pond is located.
The fleeing coastal settlement of Nilaveli lies just south
across the Irakkakandi Bridge, though the neck of the lagoon is so shallow that
some prefer to go by boat – or even wade across during the waist-deep water
season.

C Beyond offers a small restaurant area where you can enjoy
the food served by the hotel. However, there is no card or menu, the chef's
surprise! For breakfast, there is a choice between a continental breakfast
(fruit, toast, eggs, etc.) or a local breakfast.
